Real Madrid and France striker Karim Benzema makes non-prostitute, non-scoring slump news! Yippee!!!
The Benz has just dropped one of his first rap tracks with fellow artist Rohff. The song is hardly worth listening to, but there’s just something gratifying about checking out footballers trying to flow.
As with rapping counterpart Ryan Babel, it’s difficult to tell just how bad KB’s skrills are. Give it a listen and decide for yourself!

Real Madrid’s Xabi Alonso and his wife, Nagore Aramburu, make a pretty damn cute couple. It doesn’t hurt that, individually, they are FINE. Vogue España clearly agrees. They just released photos from the recent shoot with the two FINEYs.
Check out the behind-the-scenes video to see FINE dish-washing and FINE pong-playing.
In other Spanish hottie news, Iker Casillas had an interesting moment during this weekend’s match against Sporting Gijon. (As you can see above.) The “read” and the restraint are the little things that make this man charming.
P.S. The overall contest was pretty spicy! Check out the match highlights!

This is Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, Irina Shayk.
And this is one more reason to become a soccer star.
Check out a behind-the-scenes look at this photo shoot:

You may have seen that Real Madrid breezed by Murcia earlier this week in the Copa del Rey… and you may have read that coach Jose Mourinho has received a 2-game touchline suspension for protesting too much during that same game…
But you may not know that The Special One was banished to the stands during the match. As this picture shows, and as you can imagine, it caused quite the hubbub!
Apparently, this is what happens when you say “Vete a la mierda!” to the head referee.
Watch the story unfold. It’s very amusing. (Match highlights, too!)

Sad day.
Real Madrid and Spain midfielder Ruben de la Red has been forced to retire, due to a persisting heart condition. That suuuuuuuuuux!
The player became aware of the problem when he collapsed during a Copa del Rey match back in October 2008, almost two years ago exactly. He immediately went into treatment and ended up deciding to spend the 2009-10 season recuperating.
Still showing the effects of the condition, de la Red’s physicians have strongly recommended that he remain off of the pitch permanently. This came as a huge blow to the 25-yr old, whose best days were surely still to come.
The silver lining, though, is that he has been offered a coaching position in the youth ranks of Real Madrid’s organization. So, he will not be walking away from the game completely, thankfully.
Condolences, Ruben! Yours is a truly unfortunate circumstance.
Below are his tearful retirement announcement and his spectacular goal against Greece in Euro 2008.
Check out this amusing little video about Real Madrid being held hostage… Mourinho’s bit at the end may be the best part.
