CRACKING HIGHLIGHTS !!!

Chelsea v. Portsmouth
FA Cup Final
Wembley Stadium, London
The Premier League dealt with Chelsea and Portsmouth in very different fashions this year. Chelsea are champions at the top of the table… and Portsmouth landed in dead-last after their 9-point penalty for going into administration (bankruptcy claim).
All of this meant nothing, however, in Saturday’s match. The slate was clean. One day. One winner.

Adriano Russo previews today’s match:

After Harry Redknapp’s announcement that the FA Cup has become Tottenham’s top priority — thinking a 4th place finish in the League may be out of reach — how would his men match up against his old club, Portsmouth. Plagued with debt and doomed to relegation, could Portsmouth pull out a win for the ages?

Chelsea throttled Aston Villa recently in the league… Would Villa be able to save face and even the score? Or would Ancelotti’s hopes of a domestic double stay alive?

Peter Storrie, the chief executive of heavily-troubled Portsmouth, is stepping down from his post today. Sounding like a broken man, Storrie explained that the stress of the job and concern for heat to fall upon his family had pushed him over the edge.
He’ll stay on in a consulting role for the upcoming FA Cup semifinal against the winner of Tottenham/Fulham.
This whole thing has gotten SO pathetic… PLEASE let a miracle victory come their way so that Nelson the Dog can wag his tail again!
