Champions League Final
Bayern Munich v. Inter Milan
2:45pm ET – Sat May 22nd
LIVE on FOX !!!
For the first time ever, the Champions League final will be broadcast on network television. <Americans collectively do a silent fist pump.>
Inter Milan enter the match as favorites having fought off the brutalizing attack of title-holders Barcelona. “The Special One” Jose Mourinho has proven his worth as a tactical mastermind… This combined with a deadly attack in Milito and Eto’o is what make Inter favorites.
Bayern Munich would look much more fearsome if it weren’t for missing playmaker Franck Ribery, who has been suspended after seeing a red card for a nasty tackle against Lyon. Never count out the Bavarians, though… With Arjen Robben at the helm of their attack, anything is possible. Bayern held off Manchester United, let’s not forget. (If you missed Robben’s killer blow against United, you MUST watch it now!)
Each team enter the match with the opportunity to win a massive treble — each having already won their domestic league and domestic cup.
Jose Mourinho has famously declared that winning the Champions League is a greater honor than winning the World Cup.
Who will take the glory?

Manchester City v. Tottenham
The Race for 4th Spot
For the first time since the 2003/2004 season, a Premier League team outside of the “big four” will qualify for a berth in the UEFA Champions League.
While it doesn’t necessarily all come down to today’s match between the two contenders for 4th spot, today’s winner will almost surely go through to the grand European competition.
It is a huge opportunity for both sides; however, more seems to be hanging in the balance for City. Entrance to the Champions League will surely open the floodgates for the world’s top-class performers. The Mancunian club has the money… they just need to chance to offer a shot at European glory. If Manchester City were to win, the status quo of the Premier League may be flipped on its head.
A win for Tottenham would be a major victory for manager Harry Redknapp who rescued the club from its dire beginning a season ago. Good Ol’ Harry has taken the club from rock-bottom halfway through last season to a shot at 4th spot.
